The ThermageTM Tissue Tightening Procedure made possible by our recently acquired
ThermaCool TCTM System, a new radiofrequency-based device designed to tighten tissue and improve the appearance of skin around the eyes. This sophisticated new medical treatment device was recently cleared by the FDA for the non-invasive treatment of periorbital wrinkles and
rhytids, and is only available from selected physicians who have acquired the machine.
The Thermage Procedure tightens tissue by delivering radiofrequency energy through the skin, heating the deep skin layers underneath while protecting the skin surface with a cooling action. The procedure is intended to cause immediate collagen contraction followed by new collagen production and continued tightening over time. Patients treated in clinical studies continue to show improvement at least six months after treatment.
The Thermage Procedure requires no recovery time so you can return to normal activities the very same day of your treatment. Best of all, there are no needles or
scalpels and few reports of damage to the skin surface. Since the Thermage procedure works by tightening deeper tissue, it can complement other procedures
that treat the upper layers of your skin.
